Company profile
Astra industries started life twenty years ago in the lighting field. In 1988 Astra Industries S.A.L was established as a manufacturer of Aluminum louvers products. In 1996 it expanded the production in order to create the fitting itself under the Astra Label.
The factory extends over a surface of 3200 m2 of built area.
All Astra products and technologies are developed by its R&D department that consists of several experienced engineers. The production is made according to European norms.
The range of products varies between recessed fluorescent fittings, surface mounted fittings, downlight , decorative wall lights and lighting towers.
All Astra products and designs are registered according to international laws, more than one hundred patents in the lighting field are Astra properties.
All are tested for conformity and safety. Samples are sent to special labs in Europe
(European Namas Laboratories) for testing.
Its market is expanding worldwide year after year. More than twenty five countries are using Astra products: United Kingdom, France, Nigeria, Belgium, Spain, Cyprus, Romania, Arminia,United Arab Emirates,Iraq,Bahrain,Lebanon,Syria,Turkmenistan,Burkina Faso,Ghana and more .
